The ideal person will have the range of experience as well as the drive to further their experience and ambition. The role requires the person to be very experienced in Trust & Company structures with strong Tax skills. The ideal candidate will be qualified ACCA, ACA, ACIB, TEP, have proven experience in Trust and Corporate administration experience in a senior management capacity. We offer an excellent salary along with bonus but more importantly the opportunity to become a key individual in a growing business.
This is a new position for a specialist in the VAT area.
The role is to use the skills you have to advise members of the Trust teams on the legal and practical applications for the effective use of VAT. This will cover such areas as property, yacht management and aircraft leasing.
You will need to have an excellent knowledge of VAT law and its practical applications in this business.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified tax specialist (ATT, CAT) who has a background of working with offshore tax structures and an understanding of the Isle of Man tax regime. The role will be to undertake UK tax compliance activities for individuals, trust and companies and to provide UK tax advice to in house trustees, directors and clients whilst also looking after the day to day running and management of the team.
The ideal candidate will display technical tax knowledge for individuals and companies have a background of working with offshore tax structures and a working knowledge of UK Capital Gains Tax. The role will be to provide a tax consultancy service to clients and assist in the management and preparation of both UK and Isle of Man tax returns.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Company Secretary (ICSA, or equivalent Company Secretarial or Legal qualification) who has a minimum of two years experience in a similar role. The role will be to act as Company Secretary to ensure that company law and regulatory requirement are complied with whilst also looking after the day to day running and management of the team.
