Paula re joined Abacus in March 2008 as an Associate Director with responsibility for advising on the establishment and ongoing administration of offshore structures, having worked for Abacus previously as a manager in the tax department.

Paula is a Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA), a Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) and a member of the Society and Estate Practitioners, holding the Society’s Diploma for England and Wales and the Diploma in International Trust Management.

Prior to rejoining Abacus Paula was a Senior Tax Manager for Ernst & Young LLC, with primary responsibility for the tax advisory function, and provided consultancy advice to individuals, trusts and companies regarding both UK, Isle of Man and offshore taxation issues.  Previously,  Paula worked at KPMG where she commenced her training as a  Chartered Certified Accountant and then spent six years with PKF (Isle of Man) Limited, initially working as an accountant within the audit department and then as a tax advisor within the Tax Department, gaining experience on the taxation of individuals, trusts and companies and offshore taxation issues.  Paula then worked for Abacus as a tax manager having responsibility for both Isle of Man and United Kingdom tax matters in relation to offshore structures.
