Paul joined Abacus in September 1996 (then Coopers & Lybrand) as IT Manager with responsibility for the firm’s ICT which continued beyond the merger of Pricewaterhouse and Coopers & Lybrand to form PwC and the subsequent separation of Abacus up until 2008.

After completing his BSc (Hons) Applied Statistic and Computing degree Paul worked as IT Manager for a Direct Mail firm based in Stockport for a couple of years before returning home to the Island where he took up the position of IT Manager for local manufacturing business Strix for eight years where he gained significant IT and management experience.

In April 2005 Paul was promoted to Operations Director and in April 2006 was appointed Director of both Abacus Trust Company Limited (ATCL) and Abacus Financial Services Limited (AFSL) with responsibility across the Group for Operations (IT and Systems, Finance and Admin).
