An example of a corporate trust is an International employee benefit trust, established by an employer to deliver financial benefits to defined classes of employees and, where appropriate, to employees' dependents. The trust is funded by contributions from the sponsoring company in a variety of forms, including cash and shares in the sponsoring company.
